WWE reportedly sees bags of potential in the reaction this NXT 2.0 up-and-comer is getting.

WWE officials appear to be high on NXT 2.0 up-and-comer Nikkita Lyons.

Speaking on the latest Sunday Night's Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer stated that the promotion likes the reaction that Lyons has received since becoming a regular on NXT television. While her planned push isn't believed to be similar to that of NXT Champion Bron Breakker or Olympian Gable Steveson, both of whom will likely be fast-tracked to the main roster, Nikkita has gotten over when company personnel weren't sure she would be able to upon debuting. Now, there's a chance WWE may look to take advantage of this.

Lyons, 22, has worked six televised WWE matches to date, having debuted opposite Amari Miller on the new-defunct 205 Live's 31 December 2021 episode. She has since embarked on a 4-0 streak on NXT 2.0, defeating Sloane Jacobs and Kayla Inlay in relatively straightforward squashes, as well as rival Lash Legend twice through their ongoing feud.

Natalya appears to be up next for Nikkita, following on from a recent backstage interaction between the two on NXT 2.0. Lyons and Cora Jade face Legend and Nattie on tonight's Spring Breakin's special.

Before joining WWE, Lyons cut her wrestling teeth as Faith The Lioness in the short-lived WOW promotion.
