This former Tag Team Champion is making quite the impression on WWE officials.

While many wrestling fans have long talked about Montez Ford having the potential to be a major singles star at some point in the future, Ford's Street Profits tag partner is making his own positive impression on those backstage in WWE.

Via Fightful Select, WWE officials are said to be extremely impressed with Angelo Dawkins' work in the past few weeks and months.

This report states how the market leader has seen Dawkins make improvement in his physique, his in-ring work, and the style that he's been using - hence why the star has been working significantly more singles matches lately.

Putting this into context, Fightful points out how Dawkins has worked as many singles bouts since June 20 as he did between April 2021 and May 2022.

The belief is that Angelo will continue to be featured in more singles contests for the foreseeable future, although obviously he is still very much a part of the Street Profits with Montez.

Having first teamed together in late-2016, the Profits' six years (and counting) together have seen the pair win the Raw Tag Team Championships, the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, the NXT Tag Team Championships, and also have a spell with the EVOLVE Tag Team Championships.
