With the brand split rapidly approaching, WWE has been reaching out to former veterans, and indie stars to join the growing roster. Four new names have been revealed that the company is interested in, as reported by The Wrestling Observer.

Curt Hawkins, Jimmy Wang Yang, as well as Lucha stars Volador Jr. and Rush are likely to be made offers, if they haven't already. Yang had been Tweeting recently that he was backstage at a recent WWE event, and was about to have a meeting with Vince McMahon. It looks like we found out why.

Hawkins has improved since his time out of the company, and deserves another shot in WWE. Yang is a bit of a random signing, but he's still only 35, and perhaps Vince misses his cowboy character. Or, maybe they'll finally push him as a serious act...though its highly doubtful.

Volador Jr. and Rush would both be welcome additions to the roster, as the company is badly lacking in Lucha talent. SmackDown successfully appealed to a Latino audience by featuring the show around Rey Mysterio Jr. and Eddie Guerrero years ago, and perhaps WWE has a similar plan in mind this go-around.

Over the coming weeks we're bound to find out more names who will be coming home, or joining WWE for the first time. The company is undergoing a huge transition, and are going to need a lot of wrestlers to create the depth needed to make the split successful.

Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie.
