WWE might be on the cusp of bringing back Samoa Joe.
Fightful Select are reporting that "more than six" talents inside the company, and "another outside of it", have heard rumours that WWE want Joe for an active wrestling role on NXT. This could be huge news for the third brand if true.
Wrestling fans have yearned to see the Samoan get physical again for a long time. Due to injuries, WWE posted Joe behind the Raw announce desk. He was fine there, but people realise the man has some unfinished business as an active worker on the roster.
Could he return with a bang soon?
Fightful believe so. Their sources claim it's perhaps only a matter of time - it is, however, important to note that the site specified they've had no concrete word from members of management. This is just the NXT roster speculating and reading into things they're hearing backstage, but it's enough to get some excited.
