WWE Is STILL Teasing The Heel Turn That Never Comes

Triple H might be penning WWE's material now, but this long-teased turn remains on the table.

Death, taxes, and Dominik Mysterio teasing a heel turn: these are life's three certainties - and last night's WWE Raw saw the promotion tease the third with a heavier hand than it has done in several months.

WWE has been at this for well over a year now with Dominik, who has seemingly been on the verge of turning on father Rey for a family feud for the majority of his main roster run. Last night, Dominik was spurned by his old man, who chose Edge, not his own flesh and blood, as his Clash at the Castle tag team partner.

Edge and Rey will now unite to face The Judgment Day on the 3 September premium live event. Rey told Dominik that he'd picked Edge for his in-ring experience, though he insisted that the veteran duo would need Dom in their corner.

Dominik didn't sound particularly assertive when he said he'd be there for his dad and Edge. Elsewhere on the show, he was hesitant to stand up to Rhea Ripley, allowing himself to be talked into handing her a kendo stick before Rey and Edge intervened.

The Judgment Day has previously tried to recruit Dom as the stable's latest member. This remains a likely story beat should WWE pull the trigger on his heel turn, though banking on them doing so may be a mistake given the volume of these teases now.
