WWE Legend & Current AEW Star Called ROH "Ring Of Horror"

This former WWE and current AEW star did NOT have a good time working for ROH.

Jeff Hardy has routinely referred to ROH as "Ring Of Horror" throughout his pro wrestling career.

The AEW star's brother Matt revealed this via his podcast, and said his sibling didn't have a positive first experience with the company. In fact, Jeff really disliked ROH when he first wrestled there after being released by WWE in 2003.

Jeff worked a three-way vs. Joey Matthews and Krazy K at Death Before Dishonor '03, but was left "upset by the reaction he got" on the night. It was such a disappointment that Jeff repeatedly told his brother he wouldn't like to wrestle more dates for the promotion in the future; Jeff didn't work for ROH again until a string of bouts in 2017.

All Elite boss Tony Khan has since purchased Ring Of Honor and packaged it as part of AEW shows like Dynamite and Rampage. Meanwhile, Hardy is out of commission for now due to ongoing legal troubles and personal problems.

It'll be interesting to see whether or not Jeff ends up working a few more matches under the Honor banner whenever he does return to action.
