WWE Hall Of Famer and 'Attitude Era' favourite Road Dogg has admitted he doesn't really understand why wrestling fans enjoy AEW star Orange Cassidy's laid back gimmick so much.

Speaking via his podcast, Dogg said: "I honestly don't get it". However, he is willing to admit that he might be missing the point of Cassidy's character. The ex-WWE man also "knows [he's] in the minority here", but he's totally cool with that.

During the pod, he summed things up by adding: "If you do like him, then all that stupid crap he does makes perfect sense to you, and you love it. If you don’t, you can’t get past it". Roadie's firmly in the "can't get past it" camp though, and that might never change.

Road Dogg has been in the news several times over the past 18 months or so for his thoughts. On that, he said: "I’m allowed to have my own sense about things and opinions". That's certainly true, but the WWE legend expects hardcore AEW fans to come at him hard on social media this time.

Orange Cassidy is riding high as International Champ right now, and is regarded as one of Tony Khan's most trusted workhorses.
