WWE Legend Mick Foley Tests Positive For COVID-19
The three-time WWE Champion confirmed the news on Twitter.
WWE Hall of Famer and three-time WWE Champion Mick Foley has taken to social media to announce that he's currently isolating after testing positive for COVID-19 in December.
According to the Hardcore Legend, he has been quarantining in a hotel room for the past 18 days after a virtual signing event on December 18. That event saw Foley and two mask-wearing people in a hotel room to carry out the signing, with Mick at one point removing his mask to help out. When one of the others begun to experience COVID-19 symptoms later that day, Foley was informed and waited five days before taking a test which returned a positive result.
In a video posted to Twitter, the beloved wrestling icon detailed his COVID-19 symptoms as including fatigue, body aches, loss of smell and affected hearing. Giving how much Mick Foley famously adores Christmas, Foley said that the toughest part of all of this was being away from his family during the holiday season.
This is unfortunately the second time that Foley has had to isolate due to COVID-19, with him also having to do something similar back in April over COVID concerns.
All of us here at WhatCulture wish Mick a full and speedy recovery.
