WWE Hall Of Famer and all-round wrestling dad Mick Foley praised Big E's ability to show a more serious side after watching this week's episode of Raw.

The Mickster told Twitter followers that he "really likes serious Big E". Previously, the legend had noted E's ability to flit between comedy and aggression without missing a beat - Foley is impressed by that, but had begged the WWE Champion to show his gritty side more often.

On Monday, Mick got his wish.

Big E jousted with Kevin Owens on the microphone before teaming with RK-Bro against Seth Rollins and The Usos. He's set for a Survivor Series showdown with Universal Champ (and SmackDown kingpin) Roman Reigns on Sunday.

Foley wants to see more of this seriousness there. If that happens, then E and Reigns could steal the show. After all, Roman worked wonders against serious characters like Daniel Bryan, Edge and Cesaro earlier this year. He's at his best when comedy is left on the cutting room floor, and Mick thinks the same goes for Big E.

Bring on the aggro then! Survivor Series might need it.
