WWE legend Booker T has questioned "why" Adam Copeland willingly put himself in a dangerous situation during AEW's recent Double Or Nothing pay-per-view. The Hall Of Famer discussed Copeland's injury on his podcast, but refused to bury his old pal for trying to hang with a younger roster.

That's what Book believes the former Edge was doing when he leapt off the top of a barbed wire steel cage onto Malakai Black below. The problem? Copeland is 50 years old and doesn't need to do insane stunts to get a reaction at this stage in his career.

Booker told listeners that he understands where Adam might've been coming from, but would love to ask him why he thought he'd come away unscathed. Copeland suffered a fractured tibia after hitting the ring and crashing through the table on top of Black - he's since been stripped of the TNT Title and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Fellow legend Book isn't certain his WWE alumni will ever be the same again. He said that with a sigh, because he likes the thought of Copeland having fun out there and ending his career on his terms.
