WWE Legend Returns To Save Edge From The Judgment Day On Raw
Return also sets up potential future matches involving Edge's former stable.
Edge made a triumphant return to action on Monday night, winning his first singles match in more than three months by defeating former stablemate Damian Priest.
But Edge wasn't the only WWE Hall-of-Famer who made a return during the Raw main event. Immediately after toppling Priest, the rest of Judgement Day stormed the ring and put down Edge, then prepared to use a steel chair on him.
That's when Beth Phoenix, Edge's wife, hopped the barricade and grabbed the chair, then threatened to wallop Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor. The Judgment Day retreated to close Raw.

In recent weeks, Ripley has become more pronounced in Judgment Day's attacks, interjecting herself into the fray and then daring male wrestlers to take a swing at her, which none of them have done. Phoenix tips the scales back to even and hints at a mixed tag match. The staredown between the two also sparked interest in a singles bout, as the Glamazon was a power wrestler herself.
The 2017 Hall-of-Famer has wrestled sporadically in recent years, last competing in a mixed tag match with Edge against Miz & Maryse at Royal Rumble 2022.
