Beth Phoenix says it'd be "embarrassing" to claim she's actually retired from the ring.

The WWE Hall Of Famer, who was inducted back in 2017, told Brandi Rhodes' podcast that she's very much "never say never" on a possible return to action someday in the near future. That's why Beth refuses to outright tout retirement online, because she knows it isn't true.

Phoenix could still play a part in her husband Edge's ongoing issues with Judgment Day. Together, Beth and Edge teamed up to beat The Miz and Maryse at WWE's Royal Rumble 2022 pay-per-view last January. Now, almost one year on, some fans believe she'll be making another cameo showing or two in early-2023.

The 'Glamazon' might snag a spot in the upcoming 30-woman Rumble. Or, maybe Triple H would prefer to book her in some sort of mixed tag alongside Edge (possibly vs. Rhea Ripley and Finn Bàlor). That's certainly something Phoenix herself isn't ruling out.

She isn't actually ruling anything out despite only wrestling two matches since 2020; in the interim, Beth also worked as a colour commentator on NXT between 2019-2021.
