WWE Legend Shoots On AEW Star Britt Baker

WWE Hall-of-Famer Alundra Blayze has hit Twitter to rip on AEW star Britt Baker, claiming the good doctor was "handed her position" in the promotion.

Baker posted the following in-character tweet about not receiving an officially AEW action figure yet:-

And Blayze responded with the following maybe-in-character-but-who-the-hell-knows tweet a few hours later:-

Brandi Rhodes and Riho are amongst the wrestlers AEW's women's division to get their own action figures following three rounds of releases. Given her prominence, one would imagine that Baker will be near the top of the list for a future batch.

It's entirely possible that Baker and Blayze are working here. Though Alundra is never shy of hitting hard on social media, she appeared for the promotion in a presenting role during the Women's Tag Team Cup tournament earlier this year. There's currently no word on whether or not she and AEW have entered some kind of working relationship.

Unveiled at AEW's launch press conference in January 2019, Baker was, indeed, the first woman signed to the promotion, though she is yet to sniff the AEW Women's World Championship. Britt is currently feuding with former NWA title-holder Thunder Rosa on television.
