WWE Legend Shoots On Matt Riddle's Creative Direction

This WWE legend doesn't think Riddle has been "as entertaining" recently.

WWE Hall Of Famer and multi-time tag champ Bully Ray believes Matt Riddle has lost something since he stopped teaming with Randy Orton as the comedic RK-Bro.

Speaking via Busted Open Radio, Ray said WWE is trying to "plug him in" with Drew McIntyre and effectively bid to repeat that tag-team's success. Bully isn't so sure that'll work, because he reckons fans will see right through the plan. He also doesn't think Orton gets enough credit for how entertaining RK-Bro really was.

To Ray, it's Randy (not Riddle) who made the whole thing tick. He thinks Matt is an entertaining performer, but says fans overlook just how important Orton was to the package deal. Now, without "Raaaaaandy" by his side, Ray reckons Riddle has lost a step.

It's hard to argue with that line of thinking, but Riddle was never going to team with Randy forever. RK-Bro lasted way longer than anybody could've reasonably expected it to, and might still be going had Orton not been struck down by a career-threatening injury.

Bully doesn't see Riddle's new team with McIntyre having the same success.
