Kurt Angle has teased the possibility of an in-ring return.

The WWE Hall Of Famer told fans via his podcast that he's only been training on and off since retiring back at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, but that he's currently in the "best shape" he's been for a while; Kurt did also say that he'd gained a lot of weight during the pandemic before working hard to drop it.

Currently, Angle has no plans to ring up promoters and offer his services as an in-ring talent, but he's not ruling out the thought of someday wrestling again either and he would consider bookings. His comments got people talking on social media - Twitter fans are already discussing what it'd be like to see Kurt work a match for AEW, and a few even wondered if he'd be interested in returning to Impact.

Angle is under no illusions though. He knows he'll never be the old Kurt Angle again. If he did launch a comeback in 2022, the ex-Olympian would settle for feeling as physically fit as he did five years ago.

Don't rule out seeing Kurt wrestle again this year, basically.
