Whilst WWE infamously made a whole load of cuts earlier this year, it looks like some more positive news is on the horizon for those talents still employed by Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut.

In a new report from Fightful Select, it’s believed that WWE has told numerous talents that they are open to negotiating new contracts once WrestleMania 37 is out of the way next March.

For NXT names who have recently made their way to the main roster, they were promised that new contract talks would take place once the uncertainty of the current global situation was behind us – and now this latest story earmarks the post-WrestleMania 37 period as being when these talks are likely to take place.

The money that will be on the table in 2021 is expected to be less than the mega deals that WWE was offering superstars last year, but at least there’s some positive news in that talents hoping to re-negotiate their WWE deals should hopefully get to do just that once the next edition of the Showcase of the Immortals is in the rear-view mirror.

WrestleMania 37 is currently scheduled to take on 28 March 2021 from Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium.
