WWE Men's Showcase Tag Team Match Official For WrestleMania 39
Rumored match gets the green light, getting more wrestlers on the card.
A rumored men's fatal four-way tag team match was made official Monday for WrestleMania 39, getting eight more wrestlers on the card.
Days after a similar four-team women's match was announced, WWE did the same for the men Monday, but also named all the participants: Alpha Academy, Street Profits, Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman & Ricochet.
The match is being dubbed a "Showcase Fatal 4-Way Tag Team" bout, which means there really aren't any stakes being applied to this other than the glory of winning a match on the grandest stage of them all. In reality, that is a pretty big prize, but there's also the very real possibility that the winning team could be in a position to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship (or at least one set at tag titles) in the aftermath of Mania.

While the men's tag teams were simply announced Monday, the women's participants have to earn their way into the match. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez won their contest against Emma & Tegan Nox on SmackDown last week, leaving three spots to be filled.
