WWE Mixed Match Challenge Bracket Revealed
Bliss & Strowman vs. Lynch & Zayn highlights round one.
WWE's Mixed Match Challenge debuts on Facebook Watch next Tuesday night (January 16th), and after unveiling the last couple of partnerships earlier in the week, the company have now revealed the full tournament bracket.
There'll be a single match every week, with Raw's Finn Balor and Sasha Banks set to face Shinsuke Nakamura and Natalya of SmackDown on the first episode. The rest of the tournament will then play out across 12 weeks, with the finals currently set for April 3rd, just five days ahead of WrestleMania 34.
A "2nd chance fan vote" will take place in the semi-finals, allowing one eliminated team the opportunity to redeem themselves. There's no word on whether this will feature teams put out at the first stage, the second, or both.
Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss vs. Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch looks like the first round's most interesting. The only downside is that one of these tandems will be eliminated early, but both should be popular enough to get back in via the fan vote.
The Facebook stream starts at 10pm ET/3am GMT on Tuesday, with Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix set to call the action.
