WWE Money In The Bank 2016: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. Shenanigans Lead To Roman Reigns Retaining The WWE Title

Roman Reigns is the largest-scale WWE project since the likes of John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton. Others have risen to main event level since that trio, but none have been backed so heavily by management. Reigns is, in other words, the promotion's chosen one, which is exactly why he's on top of the mountain as WWE Champion.

The next time he loses the title will be huge, and it must be to the right person. Seth Rollins may still be that man, but probably not at Money In The Bank. It could happen, but the build hasn't exactly been gripping since Seth's well-received return at Extreme Rules.

That's not the fault of the men in the main event, it's the writing staff who must shoulder the blame. There's still a way to make things exciting, specifically if Dean Ambrose wins the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Ambrose doesn't necessarily need to cash in, but he should become involved. Such a distraction could lead to Reigns emerging with the victory, also conveniently giving Rollins the perfect reason for a rematch somewhere down the line.
