WWE Money In The Bank 2018: Stars Reported Backstage (SPOILERS)
Surprises lined up for tonight's show.
PWInsider is reporting that former WWE jobber-done-good James Ellsworth is being secreted away on a bus at Rosemont, IL's Allstate Arena, in preparation for a surprise appearance at tonight's Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
Ellsworth played a significant role in helping then-belle Carmella lift the first women's briefcase at last year's event, when he snatched the prize on her behalf. There have been recent reports of 'The Chinless Wonder', who was released last November, playing a similar role at tonight's show.
Additionally, the group of Sanity are said to be backstage at the show. The trio of Killian Dain, Eric Young, and Alexander Wolfe were called-up to the SmackDown roster during the 2018 Superstar Shake-Up, but have yet to make their debut, apparently owing to legal wranglings over their name's trademark. Nikki Cross, a member of the faction down in NXT, was beaten by Shayna Baszler at last night's NXT TakeOver: Chicago II. With that programme seemingly done and dusted, it's eminently possible she could resume her role within the stable - who may well be in line for a long awaited bow this evening.
