WWE News: Rey Mysterio Returns Next Week With Big Push
Mysterio won't be returning on tonight's RAW or tomorrow night's SmackDown tapings but he will be back for television tapings next week.
Rey Mysterio's 60 day suspension officially ends today and the former two time World Champion is now available to wrestle for the WWE again. F4WOnline.com reports that Mysterio won't be returning on tonight's RAW or tomorrow night's SmackDown tapings but he will be back for television tapings next week. He will probably return on WWE SmackDown and reports are he will receive a babyface push upon his return with house show business on the SmackDown brand down and a lack of main event babyfaces with Randy Orton currently serving his own WWE Wellness Policy suspension and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus not bringing in the crowds. Mysterio has been out of action since last summer recovering from an injury he sustained last year and had also undergone surgery on. Whilst recovering from his injury, Mysterio was drug tested on February 13th and although he profusely pleased his innocence, claiming he had not taken anything that would cause him to failure, WWE suspended Mysterio for two months, beginning in April when he had been cleared for a return to the ring. It is now believed that a dietary supplement that Mysterio was taking to lose weight during his injury lay-off is the reason for his failure as it may have contained a small amount of amphetamines.
