WWE No Way Out PPV Picks & Predictions: John Laurinaitis To Be Fired

We were all quite excited for the upcoming WWE No Way Out PPV here at WhatCulture but not so much now...

We were all quite excited for the upcoming WWE No Way Out PPV here at WhatCulture! Daniel Bryan challenging CM Punk for the second time on a globally televised WWE PPV was worth coughing up cash for on it€™s own - it didn€™t matter who else was involved over the rest of the card - then they threw Kane into the mix. Sure, Kane has been entertaining, and the AJ/Kane love story is intriguing, but there really wasn€™t any need to spoil a perfect title match by involving a near 7 foot tall, lumbering powerhouse with zero finesse and only a tenth of the ability of his opponents. That€™s when the weakness of the whole card became horrendously evident, but of course we€™ll sit through it so that you don€™t have to. Results will be posted on here as they happen. But in the meantime here are our predictions for WWE No Way Out 2012. Pre-Show: Brodus Clay Vs David Otunga We cannot wait for Clay to turn heel and lose this horrible gimmick. Brodus Clay should be the next One Man Gang or King Kong Bundy, not the second coming of Rikishi. Anyway, expect this to be a quick comedy spot match that sees Clay go over in quick fashion to hide his limitations. There€™s no way his €˜undefeated€™ streak is ending on a Youtube exclusive match. Non-Title Tuxedo Match: Santino Marella (U.S. Champion) vs Ricardo Rodriguez This bout can just about be stomached provided it doesn€™t lead to the return of ex-Miss Wrestlemania Santina and some kind of bra and panties situation somewhere down the line. It€™s good to see Rodriguez getting his own program, especially with Alberto Del Rio on the injured list again. If you ever saw Rodriguez wrestle prior to becoming a manager/valet/ring announcer/chump you€™ll know he€™s pretty entertaining so let€™s hope this helps him get out from Del Rio€™s shadow. Despite being a non title match there€™s no way Santino isn€™t getting the win here. Moving on ... WWE Diva's Championship: Layla (c) vs Beth Phoenix What can we say about this match that hasn€™t been said before? Beth Phoenix is the star of the Diva€™s division and shouldn€™t be playing the challenger on regular PPV€™s. She should be the dominant champion until Kharma is ready to return. The likely result here is Layla getting a lucky victory and going on to lose to the former Awesome Kong. Let€™s hope they start the build for this tonight. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Christian (c) vs Cody Rhodes Why is Cody Rhodes still fighting for the Intercontinental Championship? Surely he should be fighting bigger and better opponents than he was last month and edging his way into the main event scene. The only possible reason for his continued feud with Christian is to a) give him something to do and b) learn from a reliable veteran. It would probably be a step back for Rhodes to win back the belt so quickly and this close to Summerslam but if creative doesn€™t have any ideas for him yet then it€™s possible he€™ll go over. The most likely result however is Captain Charisma retaining the gold. Click "next" below to read part 2 of this rundown;
