While many are somewhat down on the NXT brand right now due to the impending changes that have recently been reported on, one thing sure to put a smile on the face of many long-time wrestling fans is the news that the black and gold corner of WWE is looking at doing another Halloween Havoc special later this year.

Previously, NXT put on a Halloween Havoc-themed show last October, with that episode bookended by Johnny Gargano defeating Damian Priest to become the next North American Champion, and Io Shirai retaining the NXT Women's Championship in a brutal Table, Ladders and Scares contest against Candice LeRae.

Now, the ever-reliable Mike Johnson over at PWInsider reports that there are plans to hold another Halloween Havoc event this October. While it's not official, logic would suggest Tuesday 26 October as the most likely date for this show.

As it stands, next week's episode of NXT is set to be the final taped show before things return to the live format for WWE's third brand/developmental arm. NXT will recommence live broadcasts on 14 September, with that outing featuring the wedding of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis.
