Having last been in action on main NXT programming back in October as part of the Women's Breakout Tournament - losing to eventual winner Lola Vice in the opening round - Dani Palmer has now revealed that she requires double hip surgery.

Taking to Instagram, as picked up on by POST Wrestling, Palmer stated she needs double hip surgery this year, and that she already had the first operation yesterday, which went "fantastic".

An national champion tumbler, the real-life Alexis Armhein signed with WWE in 2022 and was soon given the Dani Palmer moniker. She would make her in-ring debut that October in a house show battle royal, and would continue to work live events and on NXT Level Up throughout the rest of the year.

Palmer's debut on main NXT TV was as part of the New Year's Evil battle royal at the turn of 2023, and she was a fairly regular Level Up presence across the year. While that Lola Vice match was Dani's most recent on main programming, her last in-ring outing was at a 6 January live event, where she was part of a battle royal won by Lash Legend.

From all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling, best wishes to Dani Palmer in her recovery.
