WWE NXT Taping Results (Aug 13)

WWE taped three episodes of NXT on Thursday night at Full Sail University in Orlando. The first episode will air next Wednesday as the final show before the August 22 NXT Takeover Brooklyn event. The plan is to tape at least one week worth of content at that event as well. The three episodes taped on Wednesday are presumably for August 19, August 26 and September 2. They could push one of them back and insert the Brooklyn taping into it. Here are the results. First episode * There was a contract signing between Sasha Banks and Bayley for the NXT Women's Title hosted by William Regal. Bayley said it's her time while Banks said that Bayley isn't worth her time. Sasha goes to leave, but Bayley went after her and they had a brawl. * Tyler Breeze beat a jobber. After his win, Breeze put a Jushin Thunder Liger mask on him and hit the Beauty Shot to set up his match against Liger at Takeover. * Zack Ryder, Mojo Rawley, Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady won against four enhancement talents with Jesse Sorensen being one of them. * The Tag Team Champions Blake & Murphy beat Sawyer Fulton & Angelo Dawkins. Post match, The Vaudevillians said they had a plan for Alexa Bliss, but she slapped them. * Samoa Joe beat Steve Cutler. After the match, Baron Corbin attacked Joe and nailed him with the End of Days. * Kevin Owens did a promo with a ladder. He ripped on the crowd in what was said to be a great promo. He told Finn Balor he'll destroy him to win the NXT Title. Balor came out, Owens ran away and Balor said he'll kick Owens' ass. Second episode * NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks defeated Gionna Daddio. This may have been a dark match. * Rhyno & Baron Corbin defeated The Ascension. It originally looked like The Ascension would win by disqualified, but the match was restarted and Rhyno hit the Gore to win. The Ascension were cheered for their NXT return. * Alexa Bliss defeated Blue Pants * Apollo Crews defeated Martin Stone * Eva Marie defeated Billie Kay. There was a lot of heat on Eva Marie with the crowd chanting "you can't wrestle" at her. Apparently she was slow to kick out of a three count at one point too. * Jason Jordan & Chad Gable defeated Solomon Crowe & Neville Third episode * Carmella defeated Peyton Royce * Johnny Gargano & Tomaso Ciampa d. Bull Dempsey & Tyler Breeze. After the match, Breeze and Dempsey argued with Breeze knocking Dempsey down. * Dana Brooke defeated Billie Kay * Neville defeated Kevin Owens by disqualification. The report from PWInsider noted that Owens walked out with the NXT Title, but was not announced by name or as being the champion. After the match, Owens went to attack Nevile, but Balor ran out for the save. Tyler Breeze showed up to attack Balor soem more. Neville made the comeback to get Owens out of there. Neville hit Red Arrow on Breeze and that ended the night. Also of note, Becky Lynch and Charlotte were there doing a meet and greet with fans, but were not on the show. As mentioned, it's not known how they will edit some of these shows as it pertains to the NXT Takeover Brooklyn special, so some things may end up looking differently when it airs on WWE Network over the next month.
