In 2020, WWE had plans to pair Chelsea Green with fellow NXT upstarts Santana Garrett and Vanessa Bourne as a "Pussycat Dolls meets Charlies Angels" wrestling faction, according to a new report at Fightful Select.
Chelsea Green spoke to the site to confirm that WWE had planned to pair the ladies as a new group, before those plans were ultimately nixed after the writers pitched the idea to the trio.
Despite signing a 3 year contract extension with the company in November 2020, WWE released Green along with several other talents on April 15th 2021. They officially cited "budget cuts" as the reasoning.
Chelsea Green's last appearance with WWE was her Smackdown debut on November 13th 2020, where she competed against Liv Morgan, Natalya and Tamina to earn a spot on the Smackdown Women's Survivor Series team. Following her debut, it was revealed that she broke her wrist during the match, and that the original finish was for her to win.
Vanessa Bourne was called up to the main roster in early 2020 but likewise she hasn't been seen on WWE programming in any capacity since. Santana Garrett has barely been used herself, recently appearing in the Royal Rumble 2021 but failing to eliminate any superstars.
