WWE Payback 2017: 10 Huge Predictions You Need To Know

1. Bray's House

Bray Wyatt
WWE

And so it's come to this.

Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton will compete against each other one final time, but outside of throwaway lines from commentators noting that the match will 'finish in the ring', there's little else to discern from their promos as to what Bray's supposedly devastating 'House of Horrors' will be.

The angle may have collapsed within itself as Orton reduced Sister Abigail's resting place to ashes, but 'The Apex Predator's quest to destroy Bray Wyatt has limped on despite their woeful WrestleMania match and 'Superstar Shake-up' separation just two weeks later.

As Wyatt taunts Finn Balor and Orton fends off Jinder Mahal, both combatants don't even seem that well positioned for a match amongst the fog, axes, sheeple or mirrors WWE suggested in surveying audiences with their 'Fan Council' questionnaire on what the battle should include.

Early common sense assessment dictates that 'The Apex Predator' must retain, but go-home show adjustments to the layout for both men have made this a banker for Bray.

With no WWE Title involvement to speak of (including the literal disappearance of the belt itself thanks to Jinder Mahal's Tuesday night larceny) and Bray in desperate need of a rebound victory after his WrestleMania humbling, expect the jiggery pokery to be too much for Orton to overcome. Interference from the 'Maharaja' himself may not be out of the question as he continues to pester 'The Viper'.
