WWE Plan Revival Of Stardust Vs Stephen Amell Feud
The TV and film star could be returning to a WWE ring soon - in singles action this time...
WWE are planning a second feud between Stardust and Arrow star Stephen Amell. According to LordsOfPain.net, a confrontation is planned to occur at The Heroes And Villains Fan Fest, a convention taking place in Secaucus, New Jersey on January 23rd and 24th (ie. Royal Rumble weekend). With the second half of Arrow's fourth season about to start, and the blockbuster Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows movie set for a summer 2016 release, Amell is due to return to the spotlight in a big way over the next few months. WWE are clearly looking to capitalise, and are rumoured to even be planning a singles match between the pair. Stardust and Amell clashed at least year's SummerSlam, teaming with Neville and King Barrett respectively. The babyface team picked up a victory, and Amell gave a relatively good account of himself in the ring, showing good agility and a fitting physique. He even took part in a high spot, wiping out both Barrett and Stardust with a big dive to the outside. If WWE do indeed go through with the revival of Stardust and Amell's feud, it looks as though it could be re-ignited this weekend. Quite what sort of angle this results in remains to be seen.
