WWE Planning BIG Royal Rumble Surprise (WWE News)
Another surprise return on the cards for Saturday supershow

Omos looks set to make his WWE return as part of the 2025 Royal Rumble.
As first reported by PWInsider and later confirmed by Fightful Select, WWE is bringing Omos to the site of the highly anticipated premium live event, and it seems almost certain he'll appear in the 30-man titular battle royal. The latter outlet noted;
His name has been discussed for the match itself, but we've not confirmed he would be in it. Omos impressed those in WWE with his run in NOAH, and his willingness to go to Japan. WWE had primarily used Omos for media events and battle royals in recent years.
Given his size and dominant presence, Omos could be a major factor in the bout if he does enter the fray, and/or form part of a story with whomever manages to haul him over the top to the floor on the night. If the former Raw Tag Team Champion does appear in the Rumble, it would mark his first televised match since his participation in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal held on SmackDown the night before WrestleMania 40. Before that, he was last on screen at the 2024 Royal Rumble three months early.
Omos has primarily been used for media appearances and these select battle royals in recent years, but his recent unexpected NOAH stint saw him wrestle seven times for the organisation and become something of a social media phenomenon for how he acclimatised himself to Japan. He became one half of the GHC Tag Team Champions alongside Jack Morris before vacating the title ahead of this presumed return.
