WWE Planning HUGE 'Fight Pit' Title Match?!
A current champion wants to work inside WWE's old NXT 'Fight Pit' soon.
Bobby Lashley just teased a rematch with Brock Lesnar inside WWE's 'Fight Pit'.
The reigning WWE Champion told Bleacher Report that he wouldn't be interested in another straight-up one-on-one bout. Lashley wouldn't even be keen on a weapons-filled 'Street Fight'. Nah, he wants to use both men's shared MMA backgrounds and bring back an old NXT gimmick that's fallen by the wayside.
Bobby said he'd much rather see Brock "suplex me than swing a stick at me". Also, he doesn't think they really need loads of weapons to tell a good story or put on a fun match. Instead, all they need is to "put on some MMA gloves and get in a cage".
Let's hope WWE's creative are listening.
Lashley dropped heavy hints about a match vs. Lesnar for years in the media. Could this be his latest attempt to sway WWE? Or, is this something the company have already discussed and Bob is just trying to push it through? Both are possible.
Brock dropped the WWE Title to Lashley at Royal Rumble. They'll meet again inside Elimination Chamber (another cage) on 19 February, but Bobby craves that 'Fight Pit'.
