Having been left laying at the hands of Jey Uso on last week’s episode of SmackDown, now comes word that Daniel Bryan is being lined up to feud with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns sooner rather than later.

In a new report from the Wrestling Observer, plans are afoot to have D-Bry and the blue brand’s resident High Chief square off once Bryan is "cleared" for action.

Following Jey Uso’s post-match attack on Bryan last week, WWE.com reported that the Yes! Man is dealing with a bruised kidney and strains throughout his lumbar spine. Of course, that attack came after Uso beat the former American Dragon to qualify for a spot on the men’s SmackDown Survivor Series team.

Recently, Bryan has gone on record to state how this current run will likely be his last as a full-time in-ring performer. And with Roman Reigns looking for sympathetic babyfaces to face off against in the upcoming months as he looks to further cement his status as WWE’s top heel, it makes 100% sense to have Roman hone in on Bryan as the next target of his mission for supremacy.
