WWE Planning More 'White Rabbit' Style Angles?

Bray Wyatt's WWE return doesn't necessarily mean the end of 'White Rabbit' style stories...

Bray Wyatt is back in WWE - and the success of the 'White Rabbit' angles that heralded his comeback could lead to more.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that WWE is thrilled with Wyatt's comeback run thus far, with the former 'Fiend' re-emerging as a top merchandise seller over the past few weeks. Additionally, the promotion is particularly happy with the buzz generated through the 'White Rabbit' teases, which manifested in the form of QR codes, websites, the Jefferson Airplane song of the same name playing throughout arenas, and more in the build to Extreme Rules 2022.

As a result, WWE may look to run similar angles in the future, whether or Bray or other wrestlers entirely. It'll depend on timing and storyline fit, though Johnson writes that some within WWE had been pushing for this style of content under WWE's old creative regime, who always turned it down.

Now, under Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, it seems WWE creative is more open to such ideas.

Wyatt's Extreme Rules comeback on 8 October was his first major wrestling appearance since his shocking WWE release in July 2021. He has since been assigned to SmackDown, where he is considered the brand's top babyface.
