While all WWE programming is currently emanating from the Tampa’s Yuengling Center for the foreseeable future, now comes word that Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut is already making plans to head on over to Saudi Arabia before the year is out.

According to the ever reliable @WrestleVotes, two sources have informed them that a Saudi show in 2021 is very much a possibility.

Given how WWE has a deal in place for two events per year to take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one can understand why McMahon is eager to take WWE over there again as soon as possible.

Of course, WWE talent may not be quite so keen to return to Saudi Arabia any time soon, with the 2019 Crown Jewel reportedly seeing wrestlers and crew held ‘hostage’ as they were due to fly out of the Kingdom.

Still, WWE has been back to Saudi Arabia since then; the most recent Saudi show being Super ShowDown in February 2020 – where Goldberg defeated ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt to become Universal Champion.

WWE’s deal with the Saudi General Sports Authority was announced in 2018, with WWE obligated to hold two Saudi Arabia shows per year for a ten-year period.
