WWE Pleased With Brodus Clay's 'The Funkasaurus' Debut

Reports internally in the WWE is that they were very pleased with how the debut of Brodus Clay went over on Monday Night's Raw SuperShow. Officials in the company believed 'The Funkasaurus' gimmick went over positively and he got over with the fans exactly the way he wanted him to. Officials were so pleased they booked Brodus Clay to compete again on the Friday Night SmackDown tapings the next night where he once again squashed his opponent, this time Tyson Kidd. He is expected to get a big push initially as a face as long as the fans don't turn on him. Jim Ross tweeted about Clay's debut;

"I'm a Brodus Clay fan. Been around long enough to not judge anything on its 1st appearance. He's going to apparently be a fan fav. Relax."
PWInsider also reports that the WWE crew were very pleased that Edge had chosen to be inducted in this year's WWE Hall of Fame Class.
