PWInsider Elite reports that WWE pulled Braun Strowman from weekend live events amidst concussion concerns - the big man was scheduled to team with regular tag partner Ricochet on house show bouts vs. The Viking Raiders.

Braun has since commented on the reports himself. He tweeted out his thanks to fans for their support, and added: "I hate missing work". However, WWE doctors wouldn't clear Strowman for in-ring action. Everyone would agree that it's better to be safe than sorry with issues like this anyway.

It's believed that Braun suffered the concussion during last Friday's episode of SmackDown. There, he teamed with Rico against The Raiders in a fun bout, but the 'Monster Among Men' appeared out of sorts for a few minutes.

At one point, he even miscued a double team spot by tossing Ricochet into the ring but missing both Erik and Ivar. Perhaps Braun was rattled by an errant shot mere moments beforehand.

The important thing here is that he's alright, and that WWE took proper precautions with his health and well-being. There's no word just yet on when Strowman will return to work.
