WWE: Ranking John Cena's 14 World Title Reigns - From Worst To Best

John Cena has been one of the most polarizing figures in the history of sports entertainment. Fans either respect and adore The Leader Of The Cenation or despise and loathe a man they see as everything that is sports entertainment today. Over the last ten years Cena has earned 14 championship reigns during his career. An impressive feat for any wrestler and the most prodigious of all-time for just WWE championships and just two short of Ric Flair's record for most recognized World Championships regardless of promotion. With Cena all but guaranteed of winning at least two more championships and tying himself with Flair before his career reaches an end, and with the event that he won his first championship WrestleMania, just around the corner, what better time to look at Cena's accomplishments and championship reigns from his first at WrestleMania 21 to his last World Heavyweight Championship won from Alberto Del Rio in October, ranking each one for length, defenses and how well Cena was portrayed during the run. Cena as champion has seemed almost endless and seemingly without sense. This will bring sense to those reigns and show why Cena was rightfully champion at the time. Note: While the top championship in WWE is currently referred to as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, this article will refer to the two championships that currently make up the title separately as the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship as Cena has yet to win the championship in its current incarnation.
