WWE Raw Debuts New Theme Song On 'Season Premiere'

Goodbye Skillet's 'Legendary'...

WWE gave Skillet's 'Legendary' the old heave-ho for Raw's 'Season Premiere' on Monday Night.

The company debuted a brand new theme tune for their flagship show - NF's 'The Search'. It represents a leap back towards a rap style, and vividly contrasts with Skillet's radio-friendly rock sound.

Some who have heard the track likened it to CFO$'s prior theme 'The Night' (which was also called 'Tonight Is The Night' and credited to iconic WWE music producer Jim Johnston). NF's effort is off his 2019 album of the same name - 'The Search'.

Fans on social media are already split on the new direction. Whilst undeniably cheesy, Skillet's tune did get the blood pumping a little more than this distinctly laid back (at least until the beat kicks in) rap backing. Of course, like with anything, most will probably come around on it over time.

What do you think of Raw's new intro theme? Do you like the new direction, or would you rather WWE had stuck to a rock/metal template and gone with something similar to Skillet?
