WWE Raw Review Podcast - What Was That?!

I hope you like rematches...

Rhea Ripley

Join Adam Wilbourn, Michael Hamflett and Michael Sidgwick as we review this week's episode of Monday Night Raw!

This week's Raw was divisive to say the least. On the one hand, matches were given plenty of time and the likes of Riddle & Xavier Woods stole the show with their contest. However, last night's show also featured four rematches, screwy finishes, and baffling booking of the recently crowned Raw women's champion.

Fans are still unsure how to receive Rhea Ripley; she's certainly not WWE's classic babyface, but then again she's feuding with out-and-out heel Charlotte Flair for the title. On Raw, Flair defeated Asuka to earn herself a shot at the belt at Hell In A Cell, despite the fact that Asuka pinned her last week. Ripley meanwhile faced Nikki Cross in an impromptu 'Beat The Clock Challenge' during which the champ forgot about the objective of the match and instead just beat up her opponent...thus losing the contest.

Elsewhere, the main event title match was an absolute shambles, Kingston vs. McIntyre went 20+ minutes (which is good) but went to a no contest after interference from The Hurt Business (which is bad), and Jaxson Ryker inexplicably pinned tag team champion AJ Styles due to (you guessed it) shenanigans.
