WWE Raw Star Backstage At NXT Last Week

WWE Raw talent MVP was at last week's set of NXT tapings, reports Fightful Select.

There's no word on why, exactly, the former United States Champion was at the show, though the report notes that MVP's fellow Raw roster member Damian Priest is at least a semi-regular presence at the Tuesday night shows himself.

This story comes as a number of black and gold wrestlers have moonlighted in the opposite direction. Shotzi Blackheart, Bronson Reed, Karrion Kross, and Scarlett have all been backstage at recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown, with Reed and Kross working last week's Main Event tapings.

MVP is currently riding high on Raw, with his managerial client, Bobby Lashley, almost four months into his first reign as WWE Champion. Lashley has held the strap since defeating The Miz on the 1 March episode of Raw, with Kofi Kingston providing his next defence at Money in the Bank 2021 on 18 July.

The 15 February episode of Raw played host to MVP's last WWE match. Unfortunately, the 47-year-old injured his knee while teaming with the Hurt Business to face Riddle and the Lucha House Party that night, and has since been seen sporting a crutch on television (albeit not recently).
