WWE Raw Star Gets Slight Name Change

This breakout star will be hoping WWE's creative team gives him a big push.

PWInsider is reporting that Bronson Reed will go by the name 'Big' Bronson Reed on WWE programming going forwards.

WWE has officially made the change on internal booking sheets, which means 'Big' is as much a part of Reed's act as 'Freakin' is for Seth Rollins. In other words, you can expect to hear announcers like Michael Cole and Wade Barrett hammer home the nickname on episodes of Raw for the foreseeable future.

Bronson returned to the company last December, and immediately established himself as a heel by aligning with The Miz. That on-screen partnership didn't really go anywhere in the end, but Reed has recently been warring with both Tommaso Ciampa and Shinsuke Nakamura on TV.

The 'Big' addition should see him get some attention on Raw for at least the next month or so. Beyond that, who knows? WWE's creative team does have a tendency to lose interest in these things rather quickly, so it remains to be seen whether or not Bronson is part of long-term plans.

You probs won't hear his forename without the 'Big' add-on for a good while though.
