For those wondering where Kiana James has been lately, the former NXT Tag Team Champion is unfortunately set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

As per PWInsider, James is currently dealing with a leg injury that's expected to keep her out of action for at least six months.

Kiana last competed on the 17 June episode of Raw, where she was pinned by Iyo Sky in a Money in the Bank qualifying match that also featured Zelina Vega. That was only James' second Raw bout following her move to the red brand as part of the WWE Draft back in April.

Having trained at Tyler Breeze and Shawn Spears' Flatbacks school, Kiana James has been with WWE since 2022 and previously worked a handful of matches for AEW prior to signing with the market leader. One of those talents introduced as part of the NXT 2.0 relaunch, Kiana was part of the inaugural women's Breakout Tournament in NXT; a tournament that was won by Roxanne Perez.

As for that NXT Tag Team Title success, that came at NXT Vengeance 2023, when James and Fallon Henley defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. James and Henley would hold those belts for two months before dropping them to Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre at Stand & Deliver.

From all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling, all the best to Kiana James on her recovery.
