Could some familiar faces be returning to WWE TV this summer?

PWInsider and numerous other sources are reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment has been reaching out to numerous former talents ahead of the brand split next month.

With RAW and SmackDown to become separate entities once again, the feelers have been put off to see who would be interested in making a return to the biggest professional wrestling company on the planet.

For the time being, the names that could be on the list are pure speculation. Those interested in the guessing game should look to those who left on good terms, as well as those who haven't taken to social media or interviews to bash their previous employers. With Tajiri and Brian Kendrick making a return for the Cruiserweight Classic it is safe to assume that might not be all we get from those two, but for the time being other possibilities are just that, possibilities.

There has already been talk of the main roster 'raiding' NXT for the split, and with veterans expected to return we could be gearing towards a very different looking WWE than the one we currently enjoy. Who would you like to see come back for another shot in the company this summer?

The petition for a return for Super Crazy begins here.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
