WWE Release Statement In Response To Keith Lee's Medical Bill Claims
WWE claim Keith Lee's medical bill comments are "erroneous".
WWE have released a statement addressing Keith Lee's recent comments stating that he paid his own medical bills whilst signed to the promotion.
In the wake of the former NXT Champion's sudden release from Vince McMahon's empire earlier this month, The Limitless one soon took to Twitter to shed some light on his departure and what the future holds for him going forward. Said statement also included a passage which claimed that Lee paid all of his own medical bills "from the many offices and machines (he) frequented," during his well documented time on the sidelines due to a COVID-19 diagnosis and subsequent heart inflammation scare.
Thank you for all the positivity that has been dropped on me the past few days as well as the birthday wishes. I love you. Worry not. We are not done. We work.#BaskInMyGlory #iAmLimitless pic.twitter.com/NkxqL6qkWM

Now, WWE have responded to these claims with their own statement, claiming that their former talent's words are "erroneous". The company also went on to add,"Should Mr. Lee have any concerns over the payment of medical bills, he is welcome to address them with WWE."
The full statement reads as follows:
"Keith Lee’s recent comments implying WWE failed to pay his medical bills are erroneous. WWE has an extensive healthcare program for the medical care of its in-ring performers and Mr. Lee was part of this program while with the company. Should Mr. Lee have any concerns over the payment of medical bills, he is welcome to address them with WWE."
As of writing, Lee has not directly responded to this press release. However, WhatCulture Wrestling will keep you informed as this story develops.
