WWE has confirmed the release of former 205 Live Superstar Jack Gallagher.

Over the last few days, a number of WWE employees have been accused of sexual assault and abuse by various women on Twitter. Gallagher's name has been mentioned in one particular statement where the individual states she was raped by the Manchester-born performer.

The incident was said to have taken place at a party on New Year's Eve in 2014. A conversation between Gallagher and the owner of the house the party was held in was also posted by the accuser. The wrestler confessed he had no recollection of the events in the messages before saying he wanted to apologise to her.
