WWE Reportedly Working With 'Dark Side Of The Ring' Producers
Vince McMahon and VICE chiefs are working on a brand new WWE-related series.
SEScoops are reporting that WWE and VICE TV chiefs are working alongside one another on a brand new project.
'Dark Side Of The Ring' producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener are involved in the talks, and they'll reportedly head up the team behind some "campfire talks" about the traditions of pro wrestling and WWE's part in revolutionising the industry.
Vince McMahon's company will also be "heavily involved" in the process too.
As part of the deal, VICE will have access to WWE's archives and will be able to contact employees for talking head spots in the series. Further, Steve Austin has already started filming some footage for the new project out in LA, and other legends are set to follow suit.
'Dark Side Of The Ring' was rumoured for cancellation before VICE stepped in to clear things up and confirm that they're committed to the (occasionally) controversial show. There's no news on when shooting will begin for 'Dark Side's' fourth season though.
WWE linking up with Husney and Eisener is interesting, because there were also reports that VICE planned to work alongside Dwayne Johnson for a series focused on wrestling's territory days.
