'Hair vs. Hair' is no more...

WWE switched up SummerSlam's advertised 'Hair vs. Hair' match between Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose on this week's episode of SmackDown.

First, Rose cut a backstage promo and said she'd like things to go back to the way they used to be between the former friends. Later, Deville launched into a rant about hating Mandy regardless of what she looks like.

Apparently, officials decided at the 11th hour to scrap the hair gimmick and go with something else.

Sonya revealed that she'd battle Mandy in a 'No DQ' match at SummerSlam - she also said that the loser would have to leave WWE. The company excused the stipulation change by having Deville say that simply cutting Mandy's hair off wouldn't be good enough.

There you go then. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville is now a 'No DQ Loser Leaves WWE' bout. The 'No DQ' bit (in particular) should allow both women to express themselves better than they would during a standard wrestling match.

Their feud has been fiery, and it would've been silly to include count outs, disqualifications and other rules during its blow off.
