WWE Reveals First Hell In A Cell 2020 Match On SmackDown
'Kennel From Hell 2' is coming. No, only joking...
The first match for WWE's upcoming Hell In A Cell 2020 pay-per-view has been revealed, and it's a doozy.
Anyone who enjoyed Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso at Clash Of Champions will be thrilled to learn that Uso will challenge the 'Tribal Chief' for his Universal Title again on 25 October. This time, both men will be locked inside the titular Cell.
Friday's episode of SmackDown opened with Reigns agreeing to give his cousin another crack at the belt. Later, Michael Cole confirmed that it'd take place inside the confines of HIAC - weirdly though, WWE hasn't made this official on their website or social media.
It's happening though, and it makes sense.
Roman's one-man beatdown of Jey was a storytelling winner at Clash. There was always going to be scope for another battle between the pair after that. Both guys also have a solid history inside the Cell; Reigns has had excellent bouts against Bray Wyatt, Rusev and Braun Strowman. Meanwhile, Jey worked a stormer alongside his brother Jimmy against New Day in 2017.
This could be special, and it's actually a Cell bout with purpose. Imagine that.
