Beaten only by everyone involved in the Austin/McMahon angle... and Triple H. 1 month later and he was in a feud with Ken Shamrock because he was banging his sister. Classic.

Royal Rumble 1999: Unbelievably, despite not being involved in the angle between Austin and Mr McMahon (yet) Triple H was allotted almost 15 minutes in match and a whopping two eliminations. Chucking Val Venis and Jeff Jarrett out the ring because he absolutely hates alliteration, he then refused to sell a stunner from Austin and hung around for no reason afterwards.
Where Are They Now: Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE, and put three children into the Vince's daughter. Weird flex, but ok.
