WWE Royal Rumble 2014: 10 Reasons The Undertaker Might Return

5. The Exceptional Experienced Veteran

Perhaps the most simple reason but also the most strongest - if Calaway is fit and able then why wouldn't you feature him? He is an exceptional worker with a ton of experience, exactly what something as long and spot filled as the Rumble needs. He is calm among the clamour. Taker would contribute significantly to the quality of action and fluidity of the 30 man challenge. For that reason alone WWE officials might be putting him in the match up. A fit Undertaker has proved multiple times over the years just how strong an act he is to feature in the Royal Rumble. When I think of some of my favourite all time Rumble moments, several of them involve The Undertaker. Superstars also appreciate working with him in these type of matches, Edge for example saying how Taker is a calming influence who talks the younger talent through such intimidating situations. The question WWE have to answer is this: if a healthy Undertaker is available would the Rumble match be greatly enhanced by his presence? The answer is yes. It would be a worthy reward for paying WWE fans and a reminder to none paying fans that all the best surprises still happen on PPV.
