WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 10 Former Stars Who Should Return

Which former WWE superstars will enter the 2016 Royal Rumble for one time only? Probably not Daniel Bryan...

The Royal Rumble is full of more twists and turns than a rollercoaster designed by a toddler on a Spirograph. There's only one way to start the Road To WrestleMania and that's with an over-the-top-rope elimination match, which this year (for the second time in history) is for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Of course, just because the overarching storyline has changed, that doesn't mean we won't see the in-ring action that has become customary at this time of year. Shocking eliminations that come out of nowhere, WWE superstars return and clean house for a few minutes before setting up a feud for 'Mania, the odd appearance of Santino who'll be eliminated in record time, and the now traditional one-night-only entrants for a short sharp blast of good old-fashioned nostalgia. Last year the Royal Rumble saw The Boogeyman and Diamond Dallas Page return for a few brief, shocking moments, and in 2014 the WWE Universe was treated to surprise showings from Kevin Nash and JBL. 2016 will be no different and there are bound to be one or two surprises, but who could step into the squared circle for a cheap pop and liven up what is looking to be a pretty predictable and stale main event? Here are ten that very well might happen...
